About Me:
I have extensive experience treating adolescents and adults with anxiety, abandonment issues, depression, domestic violence, emotional regulation, grief/loss, physical/emotional abuse, and relational issues. Using a solution-focused approach with life coaching techniques, I teach my clients emotion identification and recognition to identify coping strategies that will work best. I offer youth a place to safely express themselves and teach healthier ways to manage difficult emotions.
I enjoy working with individuals of all ages and especially like the challenges that arise in my work with couples and families. Guided by the client, our work together will focus on what has worked and how to capitalize on those successes. In my work with couples and families, I help strengthen communication skills, explore role identification and family structure, and offer strategies and support to work through difficulties that arise in blended families, infidelity, and. Rather than helping clients get back to the way things used to be, I guide couples through a journey towards a happier, more fulfilling relationship.
