About Me:
My passion for counseling comes from my own journey with anxiety, depression, and trauma. As I grew through those experiences, I learned helpful skills to cope with emotions and can help you find what works best for you. I will meet you where you are and work with you to achieve your goals in a way that feels authentic to you. Each phase of life brings different challenges and I will help you learn to cope with life transitions, improve communication, and become more self-aware.
I believe it is essential to your personal growth to create a safe space where we can build a trusting relationship based on authenticity, collaboration, respect, and vulnerability. To cultivate our relationship, I will offer compassion and empathy without judgment of your feelings and experiences. The integrative therapeutic framework I use allows me to incorporate creativity, humor, and mindfulness strategies to custom fit your unique interests and needs. I practice under the supervision of Casey Sarafinas, LPC.
“I see your fear, and it’s big. I also see your courage, and it’s bigger. We can do hard things.” - Untamed, Glennon Doyle
