Confused or surprised by your strong emotional reactions? Feeling alone in your relationship? Anxious or not good enough? I help older adolescents, adults, couples and families work through current struggles and emotional pain by discovering the sources of relationship problems, anxiety, depression, anger, & insecurity so that you experience calm, freedom and ease in life. I can also help you learn how to manage moods & negative thinking patterns. Maybe you are reacting in ways you don’t understand, feeling overwhelmed or disconnected. We all have moments in our lives when we need support, as we are not meant to suffer alone.
You might call me a fellow traveler and a huge fan of nonjudgmental curiosity. Finding the right therapist and starting therapy can be both exciting and overwhelming. But know that your story matters, it is unique to you. I can help with solving current struggles and past wounds. I help those wanting to have deeper insight into areas they are stuck, negative patterns of relating, or feeling blocked from living their best life.
To be human is to need safe connections. As most emotional suffering originates in relationships, it is not surprising then that a healing relationship with a therapist goes a long way to offering relief. It’s hard to make changes alone, or to think your way out of habitual patterns of relating to yourself and others.
Positive change can happen in the context of a genuine and open connection. I will support you to sort through your relationships, past and present, and understand how you have been shaped by them so that you may live more freely. I offer a safe, open and compassionate space as the departure point of exploring the landscape of your interior life.
