About Me:

Every individual has a story to tell. Perhaps you envisioned how you wanted your life to unfold, but life doesn’t always go as planned. Unexpected circumstances and unforeseen experiences plunged into your story without your choice or consent, leaving you feeling powerless and helpless. What if you could reclaim your power and write your story again?

Rona Scott is a Resident in Counseling dedicated to helping individuals navigate the profound emotional impact of life transitions and trauma.  Rona specializes in navigating trauma, anxiety, grief, depression, life transitions, and PTSD.  Rona uses evidence-based approaches such as EMDR and integrated skills from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

EDUCATION:

Master of Arts, Clinical Mental Health Counseling.  Liberty University.  August 2026

Bachelor of Arts, Communications.  Brigham Young University.

MY APPROACH:

Rona’s therapeutic approach is gentle yet collaborative, helping you process painful experiences, face challenges, rediscover your inner strength, and author a better life story.

As a Resident in Counseling, Rona is practicing under the supervision of Sarah Slimmer, LPC.
