Counseling Services

As an integrative, holistic mental health and wellness practice, we not only treat the conditions that bring you in, we also offer complementary services to ensure that you maintain positive changes and live a healthier lifestyle. We understand that there is no “one size fits all” treatment approach. Our clinicians support healing in different ways to meet your needs.

We offer counseling for children, adolescents, college students, adults, couples, and families. We will work with you to establish goals and identify ways for you to achieve them.

Our supportive approach will help you develop tools to communicate more effectively, rebuild trust, resolve conflict, reignite the spark, and learn to live a more fulfilled life with your partner.

Our practice is designed to help families with a wide range of issues including blended families, parenting/co-parenting, negative communication patterns, and navigating separation or divorce. We will work with you to establish goals and identify ways for you to achieve them.

The Wellness Connection is excited to offer in-person and virtual support groups for children and adults. The Group will provide a safe place for sharing feelings, challenges, and experiences with others who are in a similar place. You will gain skills to help you manage your responses under stressful times and uncertainty.

Does your child have trouble listening, remembering, and following directions? Do they struggle to manage their emotions appropriately or have difficulty sitting still? Perhaps you are experiencing these symptoms yourself. If either you or your child is easily distracted, exhibits impulsivity or has poor organization and time management skills, you may have ADHD.

Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a developmental disability. There is a comprehensive variety of symptoms and signs are associated with ASD. Oftentimes, ASD is linked to social skills challenges, behaviors that repeat, and trouble with communicating. The Wellness Connection offers support and counseling for children and adults with ASD.

Addressing mental health is vital to your overall wellness. Two of the most common counseling services we provide are for those who are feeling anxious and/or depressed. Anxiety and depression are treatable conditions. At Wellness Connection, we offer a range of treatment options for anxiety and depression and have helped clients reduce symptoms and improve their quality of life.

At Wellness Connection, we provide counseling for our BIPOC Community. BIPOC stands for Black, Indigenous and People of Color. National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month, now called BIPOC Mental Health Month, is observed every July. BIPOC Mental Health Month brings to our attention and remembers people in our history who have been marginalized and oppressed.

It’s imperative to the success of the counseling that the client and counselor relate to one another so that the client feels comfortable. That’s when true healing can begin. If you are seeking faith-based counseling, contact us to learn more about our counselors and for suggestions on the best client/therapist match.

At Wellness Connection, we proudly celebrate the differences of each unique individual and serve as a resource for those seeking therapy.

Our certified sex therapists are experienced, compassionate, and offer a nonjudgmental place for you to openly talk about your concerns.

When an individual experiences an overwhelming and extremely tense event, it can lead to trauma. Trauma can impact your sense of security which can lead to unbearably anxious and helpless feelings. PTSD stands for post-traumatic stress disorder and is a mental health condition that's prompted by a frightening occurrence for which an individual either experienced or witnessed.
