Wellness Connection LLC is pleased to announce that we are expanding our clinical team and are currently seeking a Licensed Therapist who is comfortable providing in person services to clients on weekends. Preference goes to clinicians who specialize in working with children and teens. The ideal candidate will bring a unique personal background of life experience and professional training, as well as the personality, skill, and style to deliver that expertise in a way that can deeply connect with clients and team members. The candidate will have experience with a broad range of conditions including anxiety, depression, anger management, and social skills.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Fully licensed or license-eligible therapist (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, PsyD)
- Have comprehensive liability insurance and a workers compensation policy.
- Pass a background check
- Interested in personal and professional growth via supervision and personal psychotherapy
- Ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Available to provide psychotherapy to clients on weekends
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide individual, couples, family and/or group psychotherapy services
- Guide clients in the development of skills and strategies for dealing with their problems
- Evaluate the effectiveness of counseling programs and client progress
- Conduct clinical consultations and diagnostic assessments
- Maintain accurate clinical and financial records within our electronic health record system, i.e., complete progress notes and billing on time
- Participate in workshops, community activities, and retreats sponsored by the practice on occasion
- Be an active part of a diverse team dedicated to excellence
- Availability for weekly team collaboration meeting
- Stay abreast of new developments in the field through professional literature, courses and maintaining contact with other community/social service agencies
- Provide industry relevant tips for the monthly newsletter, social media posts, and community blogs
Clinician will work on a multidisciplinary wellness team to develop, implement, and coordinate mental health services for individuals, couples, and families. Our exceptional team of dedicated professionals have diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise. Weekly peer supervision meetings offer opportunities for professional development and a collaborative environment to explore a variety of treatment options to help clients improve their overall health and wellness. Most responsibilities will take place at our facility in Stone Ridge, Virginia with professional staffing averaging 20 people. Spacious, climate-controlled, modern, luxurious offices will be provided upon appointments. Telehealth options are also available to support our clients who are more comfortable receiving services at home. This is an Independent Contractor position with a new revenue share model, so there is a great potential for earning!

REQUIREMENTS:
- Massage Therapist license
- Have comprehensive liability insurance and a workers compensation policy

- Motivated to grow a part-time or full-time client base
- Ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform quality, therapeutic bodywork that meets clients’ needs within the scope of practice and guidelines of Virginia
- Customize massage services within required policies, protocols, and approved modalities to craft truly personalized sessions
- Safeguard the client experience and uphold our commitment to safety
- Recommend follow-up visits and additional services as needed to help clients pursue their wellness goals
- Maintain accurate clinical and financial records within our electronic health record system, i.e., complete progress notes and billing on time
- Participate in workshops, community activities, and retreats sponsored by the practice on occasion
- Refer clients to community resources or specialists as necessary
- Stay abreast of new developments in the field through professional literature, courses, and maintaining contact with other community agencies
- Provide industry-relevant tips for monthly newsletters, social media posts, and community blogs

The ideal candidate will bring a unique personal background of life experience and professional training, as well as the personality, skill, and style to deliver that expertise in a way that can deeply connect with clients and team members. Candidate will have extensive experience treating a variety of conditions, such as sleep issues, headaches, back pain, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and infertility. Acupuncture may be used alone, or as an adjunct to traditional medical care.

Weekly meetings offer opportunities for professional development and a collaborative environment to explore a variety of treatment options to help clients improve their overall health and wellness. We believe that wellness requires a system of healthcare professionals, collaborating on the overall care of our clients to initiate permanent positive change. Our multidisciplinary practice offers mental health counseling, art therapy, craniosacral therapy, pet therapy, educational workshops, and a weekly farmers market sourced by local farmers.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be board certified through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM)
- Must have a current, active license to practice acupuncture in Virginia and abide by the certifying body's requirements for continuing education
- Master’s or advanced level degree in acupuncture or oriental medicine from a program accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM), Graduates of foreign acupuncture programs meet the requirements if they have a full unrestricted and current license to practice acupuncture in the state of Virginia
- Have comprehensive liability insurance and a workers compensation policy
- Pass a background check
- Have at least 2 years of experience
- Motivated to grow a full-time client base and pursue excellent service
- Ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Utilize standard medical evaluation procedures and East Asian Medicine evaluation to formulate a differential diagnosis
- Develop a thorough acupuncture treatment plan based on diagnosis
- Skilled in the selection and use of appropriate acupuncture tools and supplies based on client needs
- Ability to educate patients on healthy lifestyle changes, including nutrition, exercise, sleep habits, stress management, mind/body techniques, and other matters related to acupuncture care
- Actively engage in the development and maintenance of a full-time caseload
- Maintain accurate clinical and financial records within our electronic health record system, i.e., complete progress notes and billing in a timely manner
- Maintain training and attend weekly peer supervision meetings
- Create and manage relationships with the community and referring partners
- Participate in workshops, community activities, and retreats sponsored by the practice on occasion
- Be an active part of a diverse team dedicated to excellence
- Ability to screen referrals and refer clients to other resources or specialists as needed
- Stay abreast of new developments in the field through professional literature, courses and maintaining contact with other community/social service agencies
- Provide industry relevant tips for the monthly newsletter, social media posts, and community blogs
