About Me:

I enjoy working with clients from all walks of life including children, adults, families, and also individuals from the LGBTQIA+ community. I specialize in treating family of origin trauma, cultural stressors, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, grief & loss, life transitions, behavioral issues, and relationship issues. I am passionate about helping clients rediscover themselves, see their worth, and help awaken their true potential. My approach is based on building safety in exploring, practicing self-awareness, and setting healthy relationship boundaries. I work together with clients and parents to gently and intentionally spot patterns in the hope of creating lasting change towards a meaningful life.

I also specialize in couples therapy to strengthen emotional security, communication, express needs, repair emotional distance, and learn better ways to resolve conflict together. I create a safe and neutral space for you and your loved one to feel seen, feel heard, and make deeper connections with your partner and also with yourself.

Having experienced therapy myself, I know the courage and strength it takes to show up, share our hopes and fears, and do the hard work. Humans are not wired to be alone. Life is hard enough, and there is support out there to help navigate the challenges of life.

More About Me:

As a resident in marriage and family therapy, I practice under the supervision of Ellie Cunanan-Petty, LMFT.  I have experience working in private and outpatient settings, substance abuse services, and in-home therapeutic (IHT) services. I also thoroughly enjoyed working with preschool children and their families on emotional and behavioral issues during my time in IHT. When I am not working, I find myself enjoying the outdoors, camping, hiking, backpacking, and even tried dogsledding once! I love using creative outlets for relaxation and self-expression through painting, gaming, and watching animated movies.
