ABOUT ME:

I’m a mental health therapist committed to supporting individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges—including anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, parenting, grief, intercultural complexities, ethnicity issues, and significant life transitions. With compassion at the core of my work, I draw on evidence-based practices to create a supportive and collaborative space where clients can experience meaningful growth and healing.

My clinical approach is built on empathy, non-judgment, and a genuine commitment to understanding my clients’ unique journeys. I recognize the importance of understanding and respecting each client's diverse cultural, ethnic, religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds. My style is grounded in creating a safe, inclusive environment where clients can openly explore their experiences and challenges, particularly concerning their cultural heritage and personal beliefs. I am committed to providing a therapeutic space that is respectful and supportive, ensuring that each individual is met with empathy and understanding as they navigate their unique journey.

    Beyond counseling, I co-founded a nonprofit that supports underserved high school girls in Northern Virginia to help break barriers to women entering STEM fields through education, internships, and leadership training. I am also passionate about challenging mental health stigma, particularly within African diaspora communities, and I actively volunteer with global organizations advocating for mental health awareness and conflict resolution.

    I enjoy reading, traveling, volunteering, and spending time with family and friends in my free time. I live in Loudoun County.
