About Me:
I was led to pursue a graduate degree as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor mainly because I love helping others. I am passionate about helping others reach their true potential whenever I can. My career goal is to obtain a license as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor assisting teenagers and adults who have been faced with traumatic experiences and need professional guidance.
I am an experienced communicator with excellent collaborative, organizational, and problem-solving skills. I am also highly proficient in using various technology tools for training and instruction. As a tenured educator in the nation’s capital, I have been able to problem solve amongst students who come from various backgrounds inside of underserved communities. This expertise has allowed me to better understand the needs of students and parents within my educational community.

More About Me:
I have been a youth leader and serve in an administrative role at my church. I have volunteered and coordinated community events in my hometown. I enjoy opportunities to practice self-care as much as possible. Some activities that I find helpful in my stressful times are journaling, hiking, reading, painting, completing puzzles, praying, and spending time with my family and close friends.
As a Graduate Counseling Intern, I will practice under the supervision of Melanie Davis, LPC.
